Stumpy is the happiest little puppy in the entire world. After a horrific first 5 weeks of his life, he was rescued and treated from Parvo. After surviving that, he was nursed to health by 2 other large dogs that treated him like a little prince. He soon gained strength and stamina and can climb up stairs and play with the larger dogs. Most of his playing includes him climbing all over his 80 lb. pit bull friend, and her just ignoring him.
Stump has a huge overbite, his top row of teeth stick out about an inch from the bottom row. On top of that, his ears were cropped down pretty far by an inexperienced cropper, and so he is a goofy puppy with an overbite and small ears. He is still able to eat, and wolfs down his kibble and carrots.

Stump is very playful, and is still "teething," meaning he is going through his chewing phase. He does great with his foster sisters, who tolerate his constant playing. He is trying to be potty trained, and is well on his way. He is currently being crate trained, and has been taking short leash walks with his foster sisters.
Stump enjoys snuggling and curling up with his humans. He will need a home full of love and affection, because he has had such a hard life, he is florishing in his foster environment. |
